Introduced: 1930s Japan. Fuji is a crisp and juicy apple with white flesh which snaps cleanly. The flavor is predominantly sweet and very refreshing (especially if slightly chilled). Named after “Mt. Fuji,” this apple was first introduced in Japan as a cross between Red Delicious and Virginia Ralls Genet. Mid Season - Best eaten fresh.
